I will admit the first impression holding the shorts was the material felt strange, maybe a little scratchy. But I was totally wrong. I like the tighter fitting baggy short no low hanging gangster style crotch to snag on the nose of your seat. The waist adjust held firm with hard pedaling and numerous up and downs from the saddle. The material feels like it is also going to be fairly crash resistant, although I am hoping to not test that theory. Overall a great fitting short, that fit well and I would buy it again.

love the way the back comes up. I did size up and the shorts fit perfectly.

love the shorts! Thanks DL! Comfortable on the bike and look great off the bike. The rear pocket is placed very well, and fits what I need to store in it.
I got the large and they fit great and the Velcro straps allow for a custom fit that works really well.

These shorts are my new favorite. Riding trails or hanging out, they are really comfortable.

The shorts are fantastic. The fabric feels bomb-proof, and compared to other shorts I've owned in the same price range they are far more durable, while still feeling light and with a little stretch. The phone pocket in the back is great, it keeps the phone in place, and lets me drop a hip pack. Customer service remains fantastic - DL worked with me when I needed to size up from a M to a L, was no muss no fuss. I am 6'0"and 174lbs, generally would wear a medium (32-34 waist) but recommend sizing up if you are borderline.

They wear like iron. Customer service from Josh was fantastic as I needed to swap sizes originally as I was on the cusp of Small and Medium. Love the phone pocket out back, and the deeper pockets in the front are hold things safe while riding also as they are perfectly deep enough. The other nice bonus is that they are not true "baggies" but rather they seem to have a fitted feel to them - I have worn them to work as well as on the trail. Nice to see Donkey Label moving into the MTB space!
